The working principle of the solenoid valve:

The piston drives the piston rod, which drives the mechanism. In this way, mechanical motion is controlled by controlling the current of the electromagnet. There are many kinds of solenoid valves. Different solenoid valves play a role in different positions of the control system. The most commonly used are check valves, safety valves, reversing valves and speed regulating valves.
