Coupling installation method
1. Bolt direct fixing type
Low cost, most common connection method. However, since the front end of the screw is in direct contact with the shaft, the shaft may be damaged or difficult to remove. Attention must be paid.
2. Holding type
Use the force of the countersunk head bolt to shrink the slit and hold the shaft tightly. Easy to install and remove without damaging the shaft.
3. Separate type
Because the shaft sleeve can be completely separated, it can be used without moving devices, fixing, and disassembling. In addition, there will be no damage to the shaft.
4. Semi-separated type
The connection method of the shaft sleeve adopts the clamping type at one end and the separation type at the other end. First fix one end of the shaft to the clamp-type bushing end, and then install the other end of the shaft in the separate-type bushing. Easy to install!
5. Keyway type
The same as the direct bolt fixing type, it is the most traditional fixing method. It is suitable for high torque transmissions to prevent axial movement, and is usually used with bolts directly fixed type and clamp type.
